Thank Dog Rescue is based in Newtown and places dogs in their network of fosters while they look for their forever homes.
Trap, Neuter, Release/Return is a program whereby the feral cat population is managed by means of neutering the cats, and either returning them to their location so that the colony comes to a natural end or placing them in homes.  Some may be friendly and adoptable to families.  Many find new careers as barn cats, ridding the premises of rodents in return for food and shelter.

Danbury Animal Welfare Society is based in Bethel and finds forever homes for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.  They are always in need of volunteers , fosters and adopters.
Destiny's Road pulls animals from high kill shelters and places them in foster homes across New England until their forever families are found.
